Last night we stayed near Anecortes so we could get to the ferry early. The trip started a little foggy but cleared right up and we had nice views. Orcas is very nice and the weather is great, warm and sunny. We drove to Eastsound, the biggest town on the island to get groceries. We took a trip to Moran Park and went to the summit which has a tower built by the CCC in the 30s.
I picked up a rental bike in Eastsound and biked back to our house near orcas village. The area is pretty hilly, and with a heavy rental bike it was a good ride. They have special cut outs for bikes along the roads at the top of hills.
